In their science lesson this week, Year 2 carried out an investigation to find out which of their four materials were waterproof and which were absorbent. They discussed the properties of each material before making a prediction. They then used water to find out if their predictions were correct. Mrs Colthart was very impressed by the children who were thinking like scientists and were able to discuss the properties of each material very sensibly.
