We discussed how in addition to his efforts on the pitch, Marcus has worked tirelessly to improve the opportunities for children and adults living in poverty.
We looked at his work with 'In the Box' charity helping people facing homelessness. We also discussed his work with FareShare UK.
The children also learnt about Marcus' Book Club and how he has given 100,000 books to children in need.
The children agreed that as well as being an inspirational footballer, Marcus is an inspiration for his work helping people in need.
